ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Ella :)
I’m a Mexican-American actress and playwright from Dallas, Texas, now based in New York City.
For as long as I can remember, storytelling in all its forms has been my greatest love. I did my first play when I was five years old (thanks Mom for signing me up ;), and I haven’t looked back since.
Attending New York University was my lifelong dream come true! My four years there shaped me not only as an artist, but as a person. The training, mentorship, and friendships I found there continue to influence my work every day, and I’m incredibly grateful to still be collaborating with so many of the people I met along the way.
As an actor and playwright, I’m drawn to work that is deeply human, emotionally honest, and language-driven. I have a particular love for devising and developing original work as a way to create connection, spark empathy, and bring people together through shared experience.
When I’m not acting or writing, I’m probably rewatching old One Direction videos, singing karaoke on my laptop, squeezing one more gathering into my tiny NYC apartment, or hanging out with my amazing best friends.
